Manbhar Swach is an initiative to implement decentralized, scientific solid waste

management system in a slum in Delhi (Targeting 4 blocks of Madangir)

The project is aligned with the objectives of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Smart City Delhi.

 

The program will work in partnership with the local municipal corporation i.e. SDMC and involves high level of support and engagement from them. This will also ensure the sustainability of the project activities after the project term and also serve as a model to be replicated in other similar urban slums of Delhi.

 

The Project is implemented by Saahas and Uboontu Foundation. Its aim is to provide sustainable Solid Waste management model to JJ colony Madangiri, Delhi, where maximum resource recovery can be ensured.
