A Telecom Engineer turned Development Sector professional, Archana is based in Bangalore. She loves reading non-fiction narratives, painting, travelling and watching sports on TV.

Archana manages Saahas projects in Southern India.

An environmentalist working on developing and implementing sustainable solutions around a circular economy with a focus on waste reduction and management, Divya is a thought leader in the area of Operations Management with a PhD in Supply Chain Optimization from IIM Bangalore and wide industry exposure in different sectors such as FMCG, Industrial, Life Sciences, Environment, IT and Hospitality. She has previously worked with HP and IBM.

Divya has been associated with the organization since 2014.

Before embarking on the journey in the development sector, Sonia had extensive experience of more than 21 years in the telecom sector with responsibilities across business development, project operations, and client management.

Based in Gurgaon, presently she leads the North and West operations in Saahas.

A zero-waste enthusiast, Sunitha has worked with both the social enterprise and the not-for-profit wings of Saahas, and working on establishing sustainable waste management models in rural areas. Her passion for sustainability and circular economy led her to Saahas after a stint of 10 years in the IT and Telecommunication sectors.

At Saahas, she manages multiple project teams, plans project executions, and coordinates with communities and government bodies to implement waste management programs.

Mahesh has over 12 years of experience in providing design solutions at Infosys, and Samarpan – an initiative of the Infosys foundation where he leads CSR Projects. Mahesh was selected for Swachh Bharat Mission- India Open Defecation Free (ODF), he led the program at Yadgir and played a key role in making the district an ODF.

He joined Saahas as a program manager and manages our rural waste management program.

Rajbir has been an operations and business leader with over 27 years of experience in the Telecom field. He was instrumental in setting up the Global Network Operating Hub for Nokia Networks. Prior to Nokia and Nokia Siemens, he worked with Hughes helping their Government and Private customers set up and manage their Satellite-based services and infrastructure across the country. Over the last 4-years, Rajbir has also been associated, as a co-founder, with startups creating software platforms for Bio-Medical waste management and municipal solid waste management.

Shailesh is a seasoned professional with 30+ years of experience in service operations, facility management, and entrepreneurship. He has degrees in electrical engineering, and operations management and is a Certified Energy Manager from BEE. Throughout his career, he has worked in a wide spectrum of functions in various MNCs and domestic organizations while handling multi-site, multi-account responsibilities and managing team sizes of 3000+ personnel. He has experience in functions ranging from program management, project management, sustainability programs, supply chain, facility management, critical infrastructure, HR, and others.

He has an avid interest in technology and sustainability and stays with his family in Gurugram.

Aarti Sachdeva joins us as Program Manager with the position of Lead - Knowledge Development. She would be part of the KDD vertical and would be heading all knowledge development activities including supporting all projects with Knowledge abstraction and also independent Research activities in Saahas. As this role would require engagement with teams all across, I hope everyone would take the time to know her! :)

In her previous avatar, Aarti was an international trade professional with over 10 years of experience in business development and conducted trade operations in over 5 countries. In 2014, she decided to change the track of her career and do more impactful work, therefore, joined the development sector, volunteering for social and environmental causes. Post-COVID, she decided to follow her passion for sustainability and opted to go back to college after 16 years to pursue a second Master's degree. She enrolled in TERI School of Advanced Studies in Delhi for a full-time MA in Public Policy and Sustainable Development (2021-23 batch), and during the course tenure, she interned with Saahas for a month and then worked as a Consultant for 6 months. Having experienced the ethos of Saahas and the warmth of Saahasis, she is thrilled to be part of the team and hopes to balance her role at Saahas along with her other full-time occupation i.e. mothering her 11-year-old son. 

Hetal holds a master's degree in Social Work from Gujarat Vidyapith, Gujarat. She has eleven years of experience in the development sector, such as the Human Rights Law Network (HRLN), VHAI, FHI 360, and AKRSPI, engaged in critical initiatives in the field of health and Social Empowerment. She has experience in community mobilization, capacity building, team management, advocacy liaisoning, etc.
