Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of the door-to-door collection staff and driver, maintaining record of attendance and work hours.
  • Maintaining household waste collection records on field.
  • Generating weekly and monthly reports based on the impact generated or challenges faced on field.
  • Work in close coordination with the Project Coordinator to constantly reinforce the concept of segregation and ensuring that waste gets effectively segregated at the household level.
  • Giving awareness to households who are giving mixed waste.
  • Maintain inventory and stock of waste collection bags, PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and other project consumables.
  • Monitor the waste collection vehicle and regularity of vehicle going on field.
  • Identify areas where Segregation level is poor and plan awareness activities.
  • Monitoring on-site composting site and equip the staff with the knowledge of composting process.

  • Conducting surveys in the project area based on requirement.
  • Identification of local champions (leader) for continued collection follow up and conducting training to them.
