Job Description:
● Work closely with the assigned project teams develop the Knowledge products as per the plan and also actively identify any additional learnings / findings to be documented. ● Write technical papers, articles, and social media posts etc. to disseminate the learnings from our field work and beyond. ● Keep yourself abreast wrt to key policy and technological developments in the Waste Management, Circularity and Sustainability sector ● Actively share the above information and contribute to build capacity of the team Saahas through formal and informal interactions. ● Detail out the execution plan based on the project proposal/RFP etc. ● Write reports and manage communication for the project both internal and external as required. ● Actively participate in the review meetings (internal and external) of projects which you are a part of. ● Mentor any reportee/intern you may have and support them in carrying out their tasks ● Ensure financial reports and supporting documentation are prepared as per the template and submitted to the funding partners according to the established timelines. ● Actively identify potential partners and collaborators such as the Government officials, NGOs and any other actors to meet project objectives and also the larger mission of Saahas. ● Identify and evaluate the risks associated with the deliverables and discuss with Reporting Manager to take appropriate action to manage the risks. ● Participate in various organisational activities and support your colleagues in the organisations whenever possible to help build a cohesive team and healthy work environment.
● 2 years or more of overall work experience, preferable in Sustainability space. ● Masters’ degree in Sustainability or Management is preferred ● Have authored at least 2 articles or research reports ● Past experience in Research design, execution and authoring reports, articles ● Interest and knowledge about issues related to sustainability and waste management. ● Strategic thinking, clarity of thought and communication ● Active social media handles especially LinkedIn ● Proficiency in written and spoken English ● Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. ● Experience using computers for a variety of tasks and having competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint or equivalent tools from Google.

Can deliver without supervision. • Takes accountability and ownership of output. • Is good with standard email, documentation and worksheet software.
