Udupi city has 35 wards , through HDBFS funding from 2019 to 2022 , we have set up source segregation in Udupi CMC limits. CMC was lacking effective processing of 72 MT of segregated waste that is generated per day .There was a need for resource recovery of this waste , so we had pitched again to the funder asking support for providing equipment to the CMC's Material recovery facility. HDBFS supported our cause and again supported one year of intervention in this place.
