Background:
Bulk Waste Generators including Corporate offices and Tech Parks generate about 40% of the waste in Bangalore city. While the Bulk Waste Generator rules in the BBMP Byelaws mandate onsite waste management as a preferred option for BWGs,

Objectives:
As part of this initiative, Saahas with the support of the Rainmatter Foundation has developed a Zero Waste Offices guidebook. Various sessions helped for employees and the facilities team of corporates to underscore the importance of eliminating single-use items and reducing waste being generated from the offices. We plan to continue to reach out to more corporates to help them go zero-waste
