Sampath, has joined us as a Program Manager in Bangalore and shall be working in Circular Waste Solutions project. As a development practitioner for the past 15 years, he designed and ran a course in Waste Management, Responsible Tourism, Farmer's Field School, and Entrepreneurs Development Program with Samvada. Sampath’s professional journey began in print media. His interests in wildlife, theater, storytelling, and photography led him to new paths that culminated in a deep interest in understanding human-animal conflicts and their implications for socially vulnerable communities. In keeping with these interests, he interned with the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment and volunteered with the Nature Conservation Foundation. Keen to learn and explore sustainable livelihood possibilities for youth to build a meaningful life, he pursued an M.A. in Sustainable Livelihood and Natural Resource Governance at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
