Vinod G Doddmani completed his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU) in Belagavi. Immediately after graduating, he embarked on his career with a foreign Singapore NGO, dedicating his efforts to the Swachh Bharat Mission Abhiyan in Gulbarga district, Karnataka, India. Commencing as a Site Engineer, his exemplary work led to a promotion to the position of Site Manager, and he continued his service with the organization from 2016 to 2020. Throughout this period, Vinod actively participated in various projects, including rural development, women's empowerment, child education, and initiatives related to the Swachh Bharat Mission. Subsequently, he joined as Assistant Engineer at the Town Municipal Council (TMC) of Wadi. Vinod contributed to the council's endeavors for 2.8 years, gaining valuable experience in the public sector.
